Outdoor Sports

Rock Climbing
The experience of climbing straight up over the gleaming blue of the Mediterranean is one not to be missed for any adventuresome climber.  The Muzzerone  sea cliffs offer challenging but well-maintained climbs that will take your breath away for the views.  A whole different experience from looking out over the Rockies.  We’ll set you on the right path to get there, and to get equipment if you haven’t brought your harness.

Biking

Bring your lungs, because the Cinque Terre is all about hills, which is why it has often been a famous leg on the Giro d’Italia.  There are plenty of bikes to rent around town, and we can help you find the right trails for you.

And if you don’t feeling like huffing it up and down, we’ll point you in the direction of the very flat and equally spectacular paved trail to Bonassola, past hidden bays and beaches, leading you to a lovely town with the area’s best focaccia.

Kayaks and Pedalboats

For a slightly less intense outdoor activity, you can rent kayaks or pedalboats (and some even stranger contraptions) to venture out from the bays and see all of these towns and mountains from the unique and silent perspective of sea-level.  Only the noise of gentle waves slapping against the hull to distract you.
