One day in the Cinque Terre … by boat

Arrive around 10 a.m. by train in Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre.  Visit the town.
11:00 – Enter the Cinque Terre National Park and walk the world famous “Camminata dell’amore” above the coastline from Riomaggiore to Manarola (about 30 minutes).  
11:30 – Visit Manarola and stop for lunch in a local osteria.
1:00 -  Train from Manarola to Levanto.  Meet up with your boat captain on the beach of Levanto.
2:00 – Boat trip down the Punta Mesco Promontory, viewing Monterosso, Vernazza, and Corniglia from the sea.  You’ll have the possibility to swim in the protected waters of the National Marine Park and visit hidden groves and beaches from the water.
5:00 – Disembark in the harbor of Vernazza where you can catch a train on to your next destination.
