One day in the Cinque Terre … by foot

Arrive around 10 a.m. by train in Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre.  Visit the town.
11:00 – Enter the Cinque Terre National Park and walk the world famous “Camminata dell’amore” above the coastline from Riomaggiore to Manarola (about 30 minutes).  
11:30 – Visit Manarola.
12:00 – Hike to Volastra (the sixth village) and visit the Medieval Sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Salute.  Stop midway for wine tasting at the Cantina Cinque Terre.
1:30 – Lunch in Volastra
3:00 – Hike from Volastra to Corniglia
4:30 – Arrive in Corniglia and visit the town.
5:30 – From the train station in Corniglia, you can catch a train on to your next destination.

OVERNIGHT OPTION:
